Services – Summer Enrichment Program
EDUCATIONAL FUTURES has considerable experience in assessing the wide array of opportunities available during the summer for personal, physical and educational growth.
The summer is important for many reasons. It is an opportunity for young people to gain work experience, showcase their athletic skills, experience new cultures, challenge themselves in new ways and share their time and talent with others, perhaps less fortunate than they. This is also an opportunity to learn initiative, stretch oneself and move out of one's comfort zone. Colleges are particularly interested in applicants who offer productive and instructive use of their summer holidays.
This program includes the following:
- Personal or Skype consultation with parents and student to discuss interests, needs and objectives of a summer experience
- Research by an Educational Futures associate to develop a list of recommended programs for the student
- Information, brochures and application materials for the programs of interest
- Processing of applications, if requested
- Contact with the director of the summer program selected to ensure a place for the student, as available
