Services – Campus Visit Program
EDUCATIONAL FUTURES is pleased to assist families in planning visits to colleges and universities. Such visits normally include an organized tour of the campus, a group information session and optional visits to faculty departments and other interest areas. In some cases a personal interview with a member of the admissions staff may be available.
Visiting colleges affords an opportunity for the student and his or her family to measure the quality of life and obtain a first-hand understanding of the total living experience characteristic of the particular college or university. The personal interview can be an important part of the admissions process, as colleges and universities assess candidates on the basis of both their academic and personal qualifications.
We will arrange all details once the Campus Visit Registration Form is returned, providing us with the dates of the visit and names of the colleges and universities to be visited. Sufficient notice must be given to make proper arrangements.
This program includes:
- Arranging personal interviews and tours of the campus
- Optional visits with faculty members
- Complete itinerary, travel directions, maps, tickets, college/university materials, etc.
- Reservations for domestic lodging and travel as requested
- Preparation for the personal interviews
- Continuous monitoring of the trip by phone
- Debriefing after the trip and assistance with developing a final list of college and university choices
